La cosa \u00e8 ben spiegabile per la presenza, sul retro del tappeto, su uno dei bordi, di una serie di anelli che ci rivela come l&#8217; uso di questo esemplare sia stato quello di fare bella mostra di se, appeso sulla parete di qualche abitazione o di qualche &#8220;show room&#8221; di commerciante. L&#8217; unico segno del tempo \u00e8 l&#8217; uniforme scoloritura dovuta all&#8217; esposizione alla luce e a qualche lavaggio un po&#8217; aggressivo. I colori sono patinati e sbiaditi ma in modo delicato e, tutto sommato, rispettoso. Trama e ordito in lana, vello in lana integro e tutto presente, colori naturali.
